Elementary Health and Safety (CSCS Approved)

Essential training for anyone new to, or aspiring to work in the construction industry. Not only does this course give a great insight into construction but benefits the industry by promoting safe and productive work practices among the next generation. This training positively assists the management of health and safety on site, training the workforce to understand the benefits of best practice and safe working.

Completion:

Delegates will learn to understand site documents such as risk assessments and method statements, spotting hazards on site and putting control measures in place. There is also awareness training in site skills such as manual handling, work at height, substances in construction, working around plant and site signage.

Progression:

Successful completion of the Elementary Health & Safety course, when accompanied by a CITB HS&E test pass,allows a delegate to then apply to register with the CSCS card scheme.
